I don't really get the point of this. It's enough that PB already says there is an error, doesn't need to be alerted also

Like I said above, it's actually not enough that they display an error, because when you are creating, editing, or installing a code, you sometimes simply don't see the error. At least I don't alot of times. The alert lets you know immediately. I use it and it saves me a lot of time if an error occurs. You don't have to use it, just though I'd share it for people that have the same problem.

If anything, make the browser redirect back to the past page (history.back(1)

Wouldn't that be against the TOS? I don't think you can redirect
